Responding to Active Violent Offenders
This 2-day response to violent offenders course is designed to provide participants with the necessary skills and mindset needed to negotiate a successful outcome in the event that an emergency and immediate response is necessary to stop a violent perpetrator. The course will focus on principles generated from tactics, techniques, and understanding the organizational and regional response structure. Participants will experience a rewarding and informative two days of discussion, movements, and tactical applications to assist in strengthening their existing understanding, physical and mental response to violent offenders.

Ammunition Needed: None- There is no live-fire portion offered with this course.
Equipment Needed: Common patrol response or tactical equipment, including vest, helmet, knee pads, primary entry rifle/ machine pistol, rifle sling (required), secondary weapon, or Simunition rifle and pistol (if available), duty rig with holster and magazine pouches, wrap-around eye protection (clear lenses for low light operation) baseball-style cap, and snacks.
